Goodyear Silent Armor Tires?

LT 285-75-16's Load Range E are available from Goodyear. Any experience with them? Good or bad appreciated. Thanks!

They are a pretty good tire. I have them on my 1st gen and they are extremely quiet on the highway and give good all around traction. Just don't air them up to 80psi+ like the door says to or you'll end up like me and have the rears overinflated and worn down the center (I've air them down to 45psi, I might even go lower).

Overall I am fairly pleased with them.

I don't have that size but I like the tires. I didn't have to put the truck in 4 wheel drive last winter like I used to. I can tell that they aren't as hard as my Michelins were. My front end tore up the tires pretty good until I had an alignment and rotation done. Check out page two of my gallery to see the tires. They sure are sexy

I have them about 5k, very nice tire. They do well off road. Very quite. The dealer said to rotate every 6k or so, which is good advice for any agressive tread.
So far, I highly recommend the tire. They have Kevlar and run cooler too. They seem to be Goodyears next big thing to compete with Michelein.

I only have over 5k on the tires but so far find that traction is good, well at least better than the stock Michelins, they're smooth if the road is smooth but you feel the road a bit more otherwise, and they're quieter than the stock Michelins. They seem to be the only load range E with a 50k tread wear warranty and a severe snow rating. If they last I'll get another set. So far I'm running them 65 up front and 60 in the rear.
