Good Mechanic in the San Francisco Bay Area? (south bay)

Howdy!

I'm lookin to buy a 12v diesel... Unfortunately when I open the hood of a diesel, I just get confused

Can someone recommend a good diesel mechanic in the south bay area? San Jose, Campbell, santa clara, mountain view.. even up somewhere on the peninsula.

I've tried searching, but couldn't find anything, sorry if i'm starting a common thread

I found a place in San Jose near the airport that does really good work. Eserini Automotive Service located at 508 Robert Ave. (408) 748-1551. I needed some work done & called most of the diesel shops here in San Jose & they all recommended them for their work. They also drag race VW's! They're really good folks & I've been pleased with their work.

Please check out Diamond Diesel they are located in Oakland and can assist you whereever possible! Including a compotent diesel mechanic that is local (on line also).

Please contact Greg Babbit if possible and tell him who sent you!

Thanks folks,

I'm in the south bay so San Jose, is closest to me.. not to mention the fact, that I think I know where that place is, and I've been looking for an excuse to stop in and oogle at their vw's!

However, since I'm hoping to have someone check out a potential truck for me, if I find one in the east bay, I'll bring it over to the guys in oakland.

Thanks again!
