Well, I had better complete my transition to DC products before it happens, because after GM gets ahold of it, things will go downhill fast.
Forget RWD vehicles, forget the Cummins......... Maybe Ill switch to Toyota

I heard yesterday that Chrysler might get the boot but I never thought that GM was secure enough to purchase them.I think that if Ford was in better finacial shape that they would consider the buy of Chrysler. If Ford could swing such a deal I would think that they would cut out the Dodge name, get the Cummins contract and kick international to the curb.A Super-Duty with a Cummins and a Torque-Shift tranny would be awsome.

A friend of mine has a 06 F-250 with a V-10 and pulls a 36 ft gooseneck loaded everyday with cattle and has put 52k on the truck and has never had any problems with his tranny.I have heard of problems when the truck has mods but not many stock.Anything has to be better than the 48RE.If my wife was not driving the Dodge 90% of the time I would have bought another 6-speed.
i will believe it when i see it and i can tell you FORD is getting their lawyers ready to sue based on anti trust laws. Though a Cummins/Allison powered Sierra Denali sure sounds nice.......
