Question Which fuel would you buy ?

Just a poll to see what brand of diesel y'all would buy. All 3 brands are the only brands of fuel here on Guam. All 3 sell diesel for the same price of 2.29. Just wondering which brand, if any is better than the other.

I'm pretty sure all three are the same, only difference is the name.
Prices being equal I'd buy from the station that pumps the most diesel.

I agree with Infidel. I buy from the local Circle K station, which is Citgo, But so do most of the dump trucks in the area. I have yet to pull in and be able to pull right up to the pump without having to wait. It all depends on their turn-over rate on fuel.

Ed, I've never seen the cetane posted in those three stations, it must be secret.
Some other brand stations do post it though.

Bill, in Virginia, the state requires that the cetane rating be posted on the pumps, same as Octane ratings for gasoline.

I use 45 Cetane Hess when I'm close to home.

I have never seen the cetane rating on any pump I have used since I have had my truck. I think by law or regulation diesel has to be at least 40 cetane. I am just trying to get the best fuel possible. There are too many stations aound to pinpoint who has the highest turnover of fuel.

HESS around here is only 42 cetane, and that is the highest around. Most other stations only have the 40.

In Guam it will be most important to go to the station with the highest turnover. (Climate reasons)
