Fuel Filter clogging
I have the items listed in my sig for fuel filtration and delivery. Baldwin spin-on frame mounted filter up to the factory filter. I feel like I'm constantly having to change the filter because of low pressure due to the filter clogging. This past change was just after a long 2,700mi haul of about 500gal burned through. I changed the filter again today. I buy diesel at what I consider reasonably clean stations/pumps and because of travel, most of the time it's not the same station. Is anyone else having to change the fuel filter as often as I am, what seems like every 1-2months? I know that I drive quite a bit for work but it really seems like the diesel fuel is really dirty. Appreciate any input and thoughts?

I would have to think there must be gunk in the tank to go through filters that fast. So you are going through a 2 micron Baldwin, then the stock can? I wonder if it would do better the other way, using the stock can as a prefilter and water seperator.

What is the make up of the debris clogging the Baldwin? Are you on an auxiliary tank or the stock plastic tank? Fuel source? Sounds like the filter is doing it's job. I guess I'd start by cutting open a filter and then working from the fuel cap forward...
