Think Ford is deleting the videos to keep people from talking about it.

I'm thinking the "ticking" is the electronic igniter continually firing.

Yep, it sounds like it was very sick as it caused such a show.. But did you see the road surface steaming underneath the truck from the radiated heat of the exhaust???
MAN!, and to think that flame show was mostly at IDLE!!! It sounded like a jet exhaust when he gave it just a little throttle! Now I understand why the funky air aspirator "Burner Tip" exhaust pipe tips...
Apparently when the tech goosed it, the camera man decided to bail out from the blast of heat!
I wonder what it looked like when the driver was at highway speed and it lit off like that?
What worries me is Cummins also uses an exhaust stoke fuel injection event to fire off the DPF regen. A bad injector and DC will have it's own "hot potato" issues.

BTW, My boss-man's 2008 F-250 6.4L hasn't gotten over low 12's in the MPG dept yet.

That's awesome . I believe them now about it getting real hot at the tip during regeneration. Almost fried themselves a cameraman And that annoying noise is called a Ford.

Pedestrians are going to look like Wylie Coyote when one of his Acme devices backfired on him!
