FORD clutch issue
I know we are Dodge guys but I have a power stroke to, I am sorry but I love the body style and will one day swap in a 12V but at 360,000 the P stroke is still strong.

I just put in a new clutch and it seems to work great, but it makes a huge noise when the clutch peddle is out and it is in neutral. It didn't do that before, This is the 3rd single mass flywheel set up to be installed in the truck but the first to do this. It has a good bit of free travel before it disengages but I feel no free play at the top which would lead me to believe the throw out bearing is touching the pressure plate but I am not sure about that. I have read on other forums about the issue but know one ever says water its safe to use or not.
Does any one have any advice or experience with this issue?

Years ago my son had the same year truck as you and after replacing the clutch it didn't work properly. It was the throw out bearing hydraulics which is all in one, we installed a new one and all was good. First are you sure that the clutch disc isn't in backwards? Second if the throw out bearing IS touching it WILL wear out as it needs pressure to ensure the bearing turns and not the bearing race. I would pull it apart again for sure.
