DTR's Truck Of the Month June 2004
Wow folks, another month has quickly disappeared and it's already time to pick June's Truck Of the Month.
We have a chore trying to select just one each time, (you all keep making it tougher by adding all those great trucks each month Keep up the good work)
The winner doesn't need to be a super modified, ultra high output custom painted trailer queen....just your Gallery in the Member's Photo section of your well photographed, clean, or reeeal muddy, or unusual truck that catches our eye could send one of those beeeautiful TOM winner's plaques from our sponsor, Forest City Diesel right to your door.
We picked an unusual one this time.
The members of the TOM committee, Dennis, Joel and Ed, along with our TOM sponsor
Forest City Diesel
are happy to announce that the winner of the
DieselTruckResource.com TOM
award forJUNE 2004
is:
Tim White
AKA
twhite
And a few words from our winner, Tim.:
Thanks for the selection.
I have done nothing with the truck as far a being bombed. As a matter of fact, i really don't know what bombed is. Anyway, I had a transmission temperature gauge installed on the driver's side post. I have a 98 gallon auxiliary fuel tank. I have a V slanted tool box at the rear of the bed. I have a 20K 5th wheel hitch and a class 4 trailer hitch. I purchased a XM radio system to keep me company on the road. I also listen to books on tape while I am driving.
The stretch is 42 inches long to allow for the 40 inch sleeper to be installed. The sleeper was built and installed in Shipshewana, Indiana by Double Eagle. I recommend them highly for their workmanship.
Thanks again for the selection.
Best regards,
Tim White
Congrats to Tim from the Committee on his winning truck.
Post those pictures and you could be next month's DieselTruckResource Truck Of the Month.

Hey Tim, nice looking rig! Do you drive hotshot? Your truck looks just like mine, except for that big thing behind the cab. Post some pics of the inside if you don't mind. I'd really like to see what it looks like.
DeWain
Never mind about the hotshot question, I just looked up your sig.

That's a really cool truck! I once saw one that was stretched, it was originally an extended cab long box, but they put the rear part of an extended cab behind the original cab and chopped the roof off. I don't know if it was a 10 foot box or what, but it was pretty cool.
Holy smokes that thing is looong! Congratulations!!!
