DPF Delete without tuner

Let me start by apologizing for bringing up yet another 2011 Chevy Duramax DPF delete question. I did search through the forum, but with 19 pages of posts I only made it to page 10 before giving up. My dealer mentioned that if I remove the DPF, they would only void the warranty on the exhaust system, while the rest of the powertrain would remain covered. However, they were clear that using a tuner is an absolute no-go.
Is there any way to prevent the check engine light from coming on and stop the truck from going into regen without relying on a tuner? I know there’s a sensor that detects when the DPF needs regeneration, and I would have thought by now there’d be something you could plug in to trick the system into thinking the filter is always clean. I’d really like to run a full exhaust setup on the truck, but programming it isn’t an option for me.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
