i wish that price depreciation was true, then i would have a whole lot of them, maybe even one for everyday of the week. the only way that they maybe right is if it has a gas motor and the looks form the msrp it could be.
Yeah. Not sure where they got those numbers. I just checked KBB trade-in value for my 5 year old (closer to 6 now) 3500 and it's just under 50% of the original MSRP and over 50% of what I paid for it. I know KBB numbers are generous, but they're not THAT far off.

Making no distinction for gas vs. diesel is pretty lame of this writer.
However, that said; over 50% of the 350's (or more) are equipped with the CTD, so painting a broad stroke - I think they are off a little here.
I do agree with every one of the other cars on that lost - pretty much value is in the toilet.
It's also why I really don't want to buy a new car or truck.
