i wish that price depreciation was true, then i would have a whole lot of them, maybe even one for everyday of the week. the only way that they maybe right is if it has a gas motor and the looks form the msrp it could be.

That must be for gassers. Just try to buy a CTD at their price. If you can make that deal, take it.

No joke.. The gasser v-8's aren't worth a set of tires, but a comparable CTD is still in the high thousands.

Yeah. Not sure where they got those numbers. I just checked KBB trade-in value for my 5 year old (closer to 6 now) 3500 and it's just under 50% of the original MSRP and over 50% of what I paid for it. I know KBB numbers are generous, but they're not THAT far off.

So according to my math a 2004 3500 should be worth $5165.45

Can you even buy one that was rolled and burned up that cheap??

Making no distinction for gas vs. diesel is pretty lame of this writer.

However, that said; over 50% of the 350's (or more) are equipped with the CTD, so painting a broad stroke - I think they are off a little here.

I do agree with every one of the other cars on that lost - pretty much value is in the toilet.

It's also why I really don't want to buy a new car or truck.
