Disc brake lube

I'm getting ready to service my brakes soon and was wondering if I could use hi-temp anti seize as lube on the pins and backing plates on the calipers? This will be my first time working on the brakes on my truck, don't want to mess anything up.

I would use some kind of lube. My truck is sittin on the side of the house waitin for new rotors/pads/calipers because I had a pin freeze up. Lets just say things got kinda hottt the other night goin down the highway!!

Silglide has been a brake mainstay in many shops for eons and is a proven performer.
Napa along with most autoparts sell it.

I will look for the silglide or the lithium grease. So the hi-temp anti-seize would be a no-go?

I've always used high-temp anti-seize and never had any issues.

I use anti-seize on all my brakes on the pins and the grooves and never have had a pin freeze up yet. The other products suggested will also work fine. but if you have one and dont want to buy the other then you will have no problems.

Awesome, thanks guys. And thank you David for the pictures. The main reason I asked is because I have a large bottle of hi-temp anti seize that I use for other stuff already. Thanks for the info.
