I buy them all cause I like looking at what others have done to their trucks. The how to's and tech in these mags is lacking. Pictorals on how to add a tranny pan? Come on, thats rediculous.

diesel power because i was in their september issue! and because they are much more in depth about stuff. the others pretty much decide who has the nicest paint scheme and publish that.

Ive only read a copy of Diesel Power that my neighboor had. I saw a pic of a truck 8 Lug Magazine did that I found funny because they had put big rig wheel adapters on it and it wasnt an eight lug truck anymore.

I don't read any of them. I bought them for awhile, but the info lacks compared to DTR. If they aren't showing anything new and exciting I don't want to here about it.

6" stacks mean business, yup thats the one. and if you want total tech and not 50 pages of banks advertisements, yea TDR is the one but for an actual magazine i think diesel power is leaps and bounds ahead of the rest

Ya most of them you have to have a $100,000 truck to get in them. Diesel Power is probably the best.

Theyre all lacking but DP is alright. Cant remember which one, think DW, but one of them did a 4 page writeup on an INTAKE MANIFOLD INSTALL. Took them 3 pictures to describe installing bolts. Plus the fact that a 6 paragraph article will only have a 1/2 paragraph on the engine work.

TDR, Lot's of content....and DODGE/CUMMINS only....

My gripes about the others, It's An ENGINE , Not a Mill!!!!,
Rice burners have Mills. A CUMMINS IS NOT A MILL!!!!!!!!!!

And sick of, "Skins", 'Wrapped in' and all the other inane Calif speak.

You can tell the Real diesel Writers, they tell you a lot in a few words,
The " MILL" guys fill up the page with advertisement speak using stupid words..

I do Like Jim Biglly column and some others, only reason I buy the Mags...

But, I think I'll just go back to reading at Barns & Nobles, only takes a few
minutes to read the good stuff...and skip all the ad's, And Stupid Speak..

Now I feel better. Thanks...
