I run Howes fuel conditioner, havent run a gallon of #1 diesel for 3 years [coffee]
Many on hear run Power Service with good luck.

I use Power Service. Many have told me it isn't needed, many have told me it is needed. Just to be on the safe side some goes in the tank every fillup.

I have run nothing but BG fuel conditioner in the past 8 months and have had no problems. The conditioner is very concentrated and a little bit goes a long way. The dealer I get my BG products from is first class. Always willing to do anything he can for me.

Thank you guys .Its always good to here your input .I have started to use the BG i think it the right thing to do better safe than sorry. Ive been told by a couple of different mech that there are a few good conditioners out there and they would really recommend i use one of them. Thanks again.

Howes Meaner Power Cleaner here in the warm climate. I didn't put it in for three tanks and heard a "louder" tick coming from the left side of the engine. It quiets somthing down, with the lubrication I guess.

i started out using power service in teh white bottle with no complaints then teh parts store i help at everyonce in a while started carrying howes and i used it once and noticed a difference in the sound alone and now i only use it and when people ask at the store i tell them i have had good luck with both but prefer howes to P/S

I've been using the "Howes Meaner Power Cleaner" in the summer and "Howes Diesel Treat" in the winter in both my truck and all our heavy equipment, no problems even when it's -40*, great stuff,....You can buy it @ most PetroCanada truck stops/bulk stations or NADP.

If you are running a 5.9, with ULSD, it is highly recommended to run 16-32 Oz of 2 stoke oil, for lubricity of all things. I run this & PS silver. Do not really need ths white here.
You can get teh 2 stroke at wally orld, $8.25 a gallon or so.

Wow i think it is pretty cool that you guys mention Howes because that was the other name that i was told i could use with confidence besides B/g .
