3.9's in a boat

I have been considering putting a pair of 3.9's in a 44ft houseboat I have. I have two questions regarding that.
1. Where can I find a pair cheap, such as Fed-Ex delivery van auctions or whatever?
2. Where can I find info about hooking them to the Mercruiser v-drives that are in there now?
Any help on this would be appreciated.

You might want to go over to OSO and ask the question in their tech section.

It sounds like it would be a bit under powered. I would recommend a couple 5.9's instead if you have room for a longer motor. Would also be cheaper to find these.

Chris,
Good guess I've been a member for a few years.
