the Komatsu side is off hiway and Operators engineer Union job , if experience enough will also get a KW service truck with crane for on jobsite. the Cummins side is for a Distributor Non union job , but with all the same benefits. We are also looking for a Oiler for the Lube truck on the Komatsu side. I like to add, regardless how slow it might get in the summer time on the Komatsu side , we have never had a lay off. but so far this summer, we have made some changes in operations by selling block time to some large Construction Co. some of the Komatsu guys are putting in 70 hour weeks. on the Cummins side we stay busy year round.

How is the time frame on getting parts for the Komatsu's?Every time we need parts they take forever. We have a haul truck with a belt tensioner that ate the berg.and shaft and it is coming from over seas. One thing I like about the Komie's is they are pretty easy to service, much better than a Cat.Seems they thought about having to do daily lubes and layed all the zerks out so you can get to them without rolling around in the dirt!John PM me your # I might have a few guys for ya!

dang, that is good pay... and that is US funds too... i make like $3 less than that and in CDN funds the railroad doesn't pay enough... although that can be made up for in lack of work [where else can you quite regularly take 2 hour naps during your shift? ]

Actually the Komatsu side is about a dollar more an hour , LOL they use it to pay union dues with it. Housing may cost bit more here, but all else is no different from any other parts of the country.
