Cool find at NAPA..
Now you can add the Moly to your oil that many makers don't put in anymore (ahem CJ-4).

should I add it or read your "disclaimer/signature" before and then think about adding it? would I be better off putting my money on red or black(roulette)?

I experimented with moly about 30 years ago in a six cylinder Mustang. The stuff I got was a dry powder.
I didn't notice any difference in the way it ran but was convinced that it had to improve the lubricaton and, as I recall, there was a slight improvement in mileage. After a while it was more trouble than it was worth. The only place it seems like it would really benefit you is where there are extreme loads and poor bearing surfaces. Like gear teeth and lifter faces against the cam lobes. A manual tranny might be the best application where there are very small hard face surfaces running against each other and there is always worn off steel accumulating at the drain plug. |
A company called Les Frickshun makes a similar product with ZDDP if Zinc is your EP lube of choice. :)
