bought a Rubicon, but want a cummins agian.

Hey guys havent posted in awhile because i traded in my 2001 dodge awile back for a gas, and then sold that. I then joined the army and purchased a 2003 Jeep Rubicon. I love my jeep, but i just went home on leave to my hometown in Texas, and i road with a few of my buddies with some supped up dodge diesel. Now i really wont another cummins.
Right now i have a few things in mind for my rubicon, Long Arm lift, 37" tires, 5.13 gears, Bumpers, etc..
But now i am thinking i should trade my jeep in and get another cummins. I got a great deal on this jeep tho. 50k miles for $14. and it almost paid off.
What do yall think i should do guys... should i let the bug bite and get another cummins or wait and maybe get one down the road?

Personally, i would wait, and simply be content with your Jeep for now.

Contentment is a rare thing these days - I made a promise to myself when I bought my truck not to even consider a differnent one for four years. I didn't know it would be 8.5 years and counting. Guess what - I'm content with it. It might be nice to have a newer rig, but I don't need it.

yeah i hear ya... my brother says the same thing, he went and traded a really nice jeep with a lift and tires in for a 2008 toy. And IT IS NICE!!!! but agian he jumped into payments and now wish he had the jeep back that he could afford.
Me on the other hand, my jeep will be payed off by time i get back from this deployment. But i really love those diesels, and i wouldnt jump into high payments, i would try to find a nice used 12v or an early 24v.

Just wondering what you guys would. Keep in mind, i found a nice deal on this Jeep and i really love it. I kinda torn!

Try Jeepforums.com there is alot of information over there for all jeeps. I have a 89 YJ that is stock with the pretty anemic 4.2 carbed motor on it and am looking to do a motor swap in the future but it will more than likley not be diesel. I am leaning toward a Fuel injected 3.9l v6 out of a Dakota.
