General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Bio-Diesel in Vegas

OK, I am really interested in doing this. I don't have a lot of skills in taking on the task of a build-it-yourself processor, and I have a hard time dropping $2k to $3k for a pre-built processing kit.

So, my thought was to inquire of you all the Vegas diesel owners, is there an interest in a small co-op. I would be more than happy to provide the space to put this equipment, and make it available to a small group to access. I don't need more than 7 gallons a week.

So, is there anyone else interested in doing this with me? Is there anyone with some skills that might be able to just help me build my own processor? I've read the information on the net, but I am seriously lacking in construction skills.

I ve looked into it.....I would like to. I have the area also, and the construction skills. The biggest thing lacking is time. If you know what you want built and get some of the ground work done, material, measurements etc, anything to cut down on time I could probably get it done.
