yup.. thats the vehicle.. but.. they are saying that its gonna have all medium duty equipment.. including the motor.. 300hp with an 8.0 diesel????? huh? And.. if they produce it, just wait for the price.. I'd be willing to bet it will top the 50k mark for a bare bones, if they use all the same equipment they use in the prototype... I'll stick to my dodge that cost me 33k and is proven.

That sounds like an excellent truck! Love to see one.
Trucks are like women. You can have an excellent one and still admire others.
Or, you could say that trucks are like canoes. As Francis Herreshoff once said, what are the three most important characteristics of a canoe?
In their order of importance they are....
1. It must be good looking.
2. It must be light weight.
3. It must handle well in the sea.
The reasoning is that if a canoe is not good looking, you won't notice it or seriously consider it.
If it's not light weight you won't be able to easily get it to the sea and therefore you won't use it.
Only after those two characteristics are met does the boat arrive at the water and need to be sea kindly.
So trucks must look good or you won't notice them. Then they must be available or you can't use them. And finally, they must perform well.

I was under the impression that is only for the new Tundra dually. I know they showed the proto dually at SEMA though.
I must say though, my wifes 4 runner has never been in the shop for anything. 1.5 years and 23k.
If the Hino is like that also.....wow.....Look out..
