Which Overdrive unit is the best US Gear or Gear Vendors? I have heard a lot of great things about gear vendors but I have not heard much about the US gear unit. Opinions?????

 

I think it depends on whether you want to use your overdrive with 4x4 or not. US gear can be used with 4x4 and Gear Vendors cannot. US gear is also cable or shifter shifted. Gear Vendors is electric. I think Gear Vendor also has a higher torque capacity.

 

I do not think that I will need to use it in 4X4. I am thinking about it for better fuel economy and the potential for towing in the future. I want to see what people think about eh units and what their experiences are. It looked like a really cool system. The main thing is I want reliability
