"Ride" by Trace Adkins its new... so here are the lyrics
Bogalusa, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Picayune Biloxi, Pascagoula, Mobile Bay, big full moon Diesel up just north of Destin, head across to Jacksonville Love to see the world come at me through the bugs on a big windshield Yeah let's ride Tear it down in Raleigh-Durham Haven't got an hour to lose Head up the coast to Virginia Be the newest Newport news Back across the Appalachians Blowing into Louisville Love to feel the big wheels turning Always have and always will Chorus: Somewhere inside me there's a new direction Somewhere before me there's an open road Can't go to sleep without that diesel singing And somebody telling me it's time to go Let's ride Come on boys, let's ride Come on boys, let's ride Little Rock, Texarkana, Dallas-Fort Worth and El Paso 110 in the desert, pedal down, go dog go Always love to see the people Always love to hear the crowd Always love to bring the party Turn it up and play it loud (Repeat Chorus) Let's ride like the wind, but I'll be back again As sure as this world spins around One day I might find a reason to shut this thing down But for now let's ride (Repeat Chorus) Let's ride |

Artist/Band: Aaron Watson Lyrics for Song: Diesel Driving Daddy Lyrics for Album: Honky Tonk Kid Well my truck’s wound up and it’s ready to roll I got a good buddy workin’ for the Highway Patrol So if I get a ticket or two, It’s gonna be alright But the sheriff and his boys they’re in Estilline Unless they’re out to lunch at the Dairy Queen They’ll be itchin’ to turn on those red, white, and blue lights Well just like my daddy I was born a drifter I got a rebel heart and eight - ball shifter Horns on the hood and forty channel CB Well some things you never leave home without Like your Bible, log book, and your drivin’ route And your Best Of Dale Watson on CD Chorus: Cause I’m a diesel drivin’ daddy Don’t you get in my lane Puttin’ the pedal to the medal Bringin’ eighteen wheels of pain I’ve been in love Broke some hearts Settled down long enough to replace the parts Kicked a little Asphalt along the way There’s a lonely life livin’ on the road When the only friend you’ve got is the radio And even he fades in and out every now and then But maybe someday you’ll find the right one That'll shift the gears and let ya ride shotgun Knows how to get that big ole rig to spin Chorus I’m a panhandlin’ manhandlin’ Post holin’ high rollin’ dust bowlin’ daddy I ain’t got no blood in my veins I just got them four lanes Of hard Amarillo highway Chorus Up and down that honky tonkin’ highway |

you guys have to check out wolf creek pass by cw mcaw, very entertaining let me know what u think
|
if you're going to check out wolf creek pass, also check out CB savage, and a tommy cash song called roll truck roll. Del Reeves "Girl on the Billboard", and Commander Cody and his lost planet airmen " truck stop at the end of the world " CW McCall " I've trucked all over this land " I've been everywhere, teddy bear, anything by Red Sovine.
Jerry Reed has done some good ones too. There are a lot of good trucking songs out there, and some good driving songs in general. A good all-purpose album for drivers is AC/DC Who made Who, the maximum overdrive soundtrack. excellent for keeping you awake. |
Six Days on the Road by Steve Earle. Sawyer Brown's version can't hold a candle to Steve's.

I don't know who sings it but its an old country song called
"Diesel Smoke and Dangorours Curves" |
