Also to whoever asked about the weight it is 65,000lbs.

It seems like alot more going by the trailers, but 65,000 is what the announcer said.

In regards to the semi Mustang race. You can tell its not a US race, with a crowd that close to the action. The bleeding hearts in the states would have a field day with that. Anyway, those trucks are amazing

I didn't hear the announcer say that but 65,000 kilogram = 143,300lbs. Also we have trucks that haul lumber 5 days a week (and owned a lumberyard for about 20yrs) and that is a LONG way from 65k. 65k per trailer sounds more believable either way the speed at the top is impressive.

Here is another one:

Those Canadians are crazy with their big trucks. thanks for the vids they were awsome. I'd love to check those races out sometime. That truck sounded awsome at idle.

I'd also like to know how they keep the driveline together in those trucks, I have towed and fixed MANY a tractor with WAY less power than what those guys are putting to the ground, that had the driveshafts twisted into pretzels or snapped the gear housings and such.

Here is another one:

ROTFLMAO, a 20k# truck pulling a 13 sec 1/4.

Thanks,

The greatest thing about these videos to me is remembering just about everytime I take a truck to Cat to be uprated they always tell me how you "Cant do anything to these engines without the factory password/computer" and how "you can't make big power out of the newer ones you need a "B" model". Funny how on Eric Bouchard's webpage (owner of that truck) one of his team mates is labeled "Programmer" and I don't see Caterpillar as one of his sponsors. I guess some of those mechanics should tell that guy "you can't do that"!

The T800 Kenworth in the first video posted by "dieselfuelonly" is a series 60 Detroit.
