I believe it's around 140k gross and yes those are usually their trucks. I think it should be sponsored by Dana/Spicer or Eaton fuller. I give credit to the sled pullers but this is a real truck test, full weight from a dead stop, uphill while shifting gears. Not a transfer sled where it starts out with little resistance. Here are a few more.
The truck on the right is a 2001 Western Star with a 2400hp Cat C15 (yes it's electronic) with an 18spd.

And yes he uses the clutch!

Here it is at idle (turn your speakers up)

And drag racing a Saleen Mustang (475hp)

I can't imagine the cluth that it takes to put all that down. Those guys can really drive too. It must be hard to grab gears when your cab is tipped and rocking like that. Awesome.

That is the absolute best video I have ever seen on the internet, I would kill for my 04 to leave a stoplight like that. What do those trucks have for a tranny/ diffs? Normal 18 eatons and 46k axles? Id be scared of getting showered with tranny parts standing that close to the lanes. sledpulling seems weak compared to this

I agree, one of the best Ive seen. I saw a pipe haulin' Pete today roll the coal like no other. I couldnt help myself I had to roll a little too!! After I saw him fog up most of highway 6 I thought to myself how uncommon that is these days. Folks were driving all over the place trying to miss his coal train.

I guess you guys don't know French huh? You can here them say "Tabarnak" 3 or 4 times in that vid (french swear in English it would be tabernacle)

Those comps are done in Quebec. I have never been, though heard about them (I grew up not far from Quebec)
