I just picked up a 98' 9200 int'l with a 330/370hp M11 cummins & an eaton fuller 10 spd. the truck is a single axle with a 48" sleeper I bought the truck to pull a living quarters sundowner horse trailer as well as my stock trailer & flatbed used to haul skid steers & materials for my fencing business. so far I'm pleased with the way it runs/pulls don't know alot about the M11 cummins, it's showing 862,xxx miles, but the motor had some work done at about the 600k mark, don't have any details on that work??? the only flaw I can find is that if I idle it below around 750 rpms it seems to have a slight miss???? I can bump the idle up to about 800-850 & it smooths out alot, I did remove the muffler & have a single 6" stack & it's ALOT more noticeable now than before obviously........the truck smooths out & runs great out on the road, could this be injectors? or computer related???? also any tips for fuel mileage??? thanks alot for any info on the M11, Dusty

 

The m11 is electric so pulling codes would be help full...some are wore out at 500000 others make it to the mill mark..I would look at the codes, do a hot oil sample and check DCA
That will give you a couple things to do and not cost a $$$$$$$$$$$$

 

Sounds like an injector getting ready to drop.
