6.4L Maintenance Video from Ford

Note the HUGE slide about aftermarket modifications in the "Operations" section.

Also, installing even a exhaust tip will void the warranty, due to there being difusers in the exhaust system right before the tip, that must be kept clean for the system to work correctly.

Probably why they gave it two exhaust outlets/tips, to prevent owners from installing a 5inch tip. Anything to give Ford a way out to void warranties.

Looks like just something else to rattle. You can buy one for any truck for about $29.00. Not impressed.

Shew, I got like 5 minutes in and threw up in the floor! I hope that Dodge and Chevy don't follow in these foot steps. I mean, I know that emissions is going to complicate things, but GEEZ! Make me REAL happy I bought the 06'.

Wow . . . I thought my old 6.0L PS was complicated. I'm happy I got an '06 Cummins before all of the emmissions changes. I'd hate to be hunting around for 15ppm sulfer fuel.

You don't have to go hunting for 15ppm fuel, because that is all that is available now at the pumps (other than farming/off road).

$50,000 dollar paper weight. Man that exaust was nasty. Where would someone put an EZ under the hood? it was just one big cluster Edit of steel and wires.

I live in California, the most emissions restrictive state in the country, San Diego no less, and am still filling up with LSD...it is going to slowly cycle out. Basically, you won't see ULSD at EVERY pump until ALL the LSD is gone

You won't, or you will have a tattle tale EGR set off alarms. DO ANYTHING to modify these trucks and your warranty is GONE.

Do anything to modify any '07 and beyond emissions-certified diesel engine and your warranty is gone. This goes for all of them - Cummins included.

The link didn't work for me...
