4bt - 6bt ISB engine question

Which one has the individual Vavle covers and which has the one valve cover? Which ones are computer controlled and which are mechanical?

Thanks in advance.

I have never seen a 4BT with a single valve cover, I know for sure they didn't have a single valve cover up to at least the common rail engines.

I am pretty sure you will only find a all mechanical 4bt or a common rail electric version ( no VP44 versions. )

Thats the new common rail version.

There was a guy over there ( TDR ) that was stuffing one in a Jeep, I think HoleshotHolset was his user name. Look in the conversion section.

His came out of a 2003 ish FedEx truck complete with a Allison auto for 5500 or so IIRC.

The only other way I can think of would be to buy new, I used to see some on fleabay for a decent price ( at least for a new engine ).
