2008 f350 block warmer?
a friend of mine has a 08 superduty -power stroke
we cant find the plug for the block warmer, is it possible that there isnt one? |
Ford wraps them back on themselves and tapes them up so they are hard to find. Feel around for a wire harness on the inside lower part of the front bumper, you may have to do this lying under the bumper.

I found one on a 7.3 right near the top of oil filter, and followed it down.

Correction, lift the hood, it should be on the left radiator, air to air support. |
On my 04 6.0 it is "hidden" in the passenger side tow hook. You will need a flashlight to see it. I found this on another site. All 6.4s have a block heater, but they all do not have the cord installed. If you don't see the block heater listed on your original sticker, you most likely don't have the cord. Look for the cord directly behind the front bumper on the passenger side of the bumper (if it is there it is attached to a clip that you can access from the center opening in the bumper). Keith
