WMO in 07 6.7

Hey all,
Anyone using filtered WMO in there new 6.7L cummins? I was thinking about running a mixture of about 20 percent WMO and 80 ULSD fuel, or possibly even WVO however I've been reading several different threads. Some people use filtered WVO and run it with a blend of ULSD, and some go through the entire bio process of separating fats and glyceren ect. Any input would be great thanks

I would think you would have problems with burning WMO as your truck has DPF on it and I would think it would plug it up. I read that a new DPF cost $5500.00 and by using WMO it would not be covered under warranty if it plugs up and needs to be replaced.

That would sure scare the daylights outta me, I think you should look in the direction of HHO to help your mileage, your DPF will thank you. Engines with aftertreatment exhausts will respond positvely to HHO gas, it will surely be easier on the DPF, just my .02

I dunno if thats a good idea, man. Because when the DPF senses too much soot, it goes into "regen" right? Which burns even more fuel to create heat to burn all that stuff out. But by running WMO, you are going to create more soot I'd imagine. So its gonna be a catch 22. Of course, I have no hard data to support this, I'm merely making an educated guess.

Well ya'll make very good points, and I've thought of seveal different senarios myself, just wondering if anyone else was doing it. And latley I have been researching the Hydorgen aspect, some swear by it, other say it doesn't do anything. At this point I'll still continue to reasearch and weight my options. Thanks guys

As far as HHO if it worked like they claim then I would think they could get Harvard or so place like that to check it out and publish a paper proving that it work. Once its proven to worked we would have one on every car, truck, SUV and semi truck in the entire world. It would be great if it works as claimed but no one can Prove that it works or a way to get HHO easily as it take more energy to make HHO then it puts out.

Well my wife is getting tired of paying crazy high prices for fuel. A little back ground. We have two diesels at the house, (1) 06 F-250 6.0 problem free, about 35,000 miles, and mine, but she wants to trade one of them in for an economic car.. so I'm all ears for anything that will save fuel so I can try to convince her. Were not hurting for money but she would rather put the money into savings than into fuel
