Power Source Fuel supp. + Chicago summer fuel ok today/tomorrow?
I'm stuck with an old belly of summer fuel in my truck (hadn't been driving it obviously) and we're looking to be in the low single digits by tomorrow. I run this:

in the fuel, am I going to be ok in those temps w/out the winter blend from the pump?

I'd run it at a little higher than the recommended dose- the last time I was in single-digit temps, it was with #2 Summer fuel and PS "white" and I had no problems. There's evidence indicating that increasing the amount of anti-gel doesn't appreciably lower the cloud-point of the fuel. Made me feel better, though.

IIRC the state of IL mixes at least 10% Bio in there fuel so I would put in double the amount listed just to be safe. If your not adding it when you fill the tank then drive it for a few miles after putting it in to make sure it mixed in well.
