Peanut Oil?
Ok we all know these engines were first made to run on peanut oil. So will they? If you did want to spend the $12 a gallon on it could you just dump it in you tank and go?

Now a serious answer. In the heat of summer, i believe you can. Once the temp drops, you will need to heat the oil to keep it at an acceptable viscocity to run through your various pumps and filter.
There is an oil conversion system for sale out there. Try Greasel.org for starters.
hope this helps
