Name your $/gallon (II)
Mad Trucker 66, Hemet is in Riverside county Near Perris. Just take the 15 North to the 215 North. you'll see an exit for hemet but probably not worth it to fill up here it's about 65 miles from you. Unless you had a big tank!
A couple of our Navy ships collided in the straight of Hormuz the other day; the only thing permanently damaged were a few careers, but any drama in the strategically important waterway is going to bump barrel prices up.
Yup. Same here for Ventura County (Thousand Oaks). The two stations near my office were at 2.09 for quite awhile. Tuesday, it jumped to 2.19 and today (Wed) it is 2.39. I don't like the trend . . . maybe it's following the Dow.
Here in Houston, Diesel was selling for as low as 1.89. Past 2 days jumped to 1.99 plus. Flyin J is up to 2.09, more or less, across Texas. Prices are on the rise, but way better than almost $5. I suspect we will see 2.30 going into summer, my swag. Oil is holding at $52, and that is only because the Fed & Obama are pumping $2Trillion of borrowed and monoply money into the economy. China owns $1 Trillion of US debt and is not to thrilled with our Banna Republic financing. At least it looks like we will not have a great depression, where unempolyment was 25% for 10 YEARS.
I was trying to remember, was it as long as 4 years ago that we paid $2/gallon?
