$4.45 today, ouch.

 

I have not been in to town since last Friday to see what the price of fuel is at. I have all but parked the truck ( I've only put 137 miles on it in 16 days) as I don't want to pay the price they are selling it for. The money I save by not driving has gone in to fixing up the house as I will get a better return on the money I invest in to it or I at least hope I will.

 

I do not think most of the country has any idea that diesel fuel cost have a huge impact on the cost of goods i.e. food. Maybe once miss soccer mom has to pay 5 or 10 bucks for a dozen eggs, the brain dead in Washington will maybe do something. We can only hope

 

Holy crap! I saw $4.29 yesterday. I filled up for $3.99 and was wishing I could fit more into the tank. I think I just got my last $3.xx diesel for awhile. Good thing my yuppiemobile gets 30mpg and doesn't mind reg. unleaded if I'm not revving it past 5K.

 

Saw $4.05 in Leonardtown, MD. I think there is one place still at $3.99, I might stop by there and top off the truck and a couple of fuel jugs.

$4.09 here today Regular gas was $3.19 90 cents a gallon difference, thats just not right.

 

Just topped off the truck tonight.
Found it at a Shell on Joppa rd near Perring Pkwy for $3.79.

 

When is it going to stop! Everyday diesel is increasing 2-4 cents! Cheapest is now $4.07 here. What bothers me the most is the fact that there's such a HUGE price gap between diesel and unleaded. It's like I'm forced to drive a small gasser simply because the price difference is just too big to justify driving the truck.

 

I typically don't get fuel but every 4-6 days unless I'm doing Corpus.

At this point I have about 350 showing on MTE.

I'll probably faint next time!

Diesel is $4.01 per gallon in Kalispell, MT. We have 3 refineries here in the state plus tons of gas/oil wells. What gives?
