Hit 3.97 here in Bakersfield. Supply and demand?. How about we demand the supply be increased by shipping back the 30-40 million illegals in the US. That should lower the price back to pre-insanity levels.

That sounds like a good idea...even if it doesn't lower fuel prices!

Hello there Wcbcruzer, hows it going?
Hey remember the Bio Diesel plant on way out stockdale and hwy43 that burned down 2yrs ago, It was the largest bio plant in the US at that time and we couldnt buy any bio in kern county, then 1.5 yrs later theres 1 bio pump on hwy 58 and weedpatch hwy.. So we make it here, but we cant buy it here b/c of the Oil Patch on the west side? Just some questions to ponder.
Doug.

$4.09 a gallon here. I work for a small trucking company, and help out with some of the office work every now and then. Out of curiousity, we dug out the fuel receipts for the last two months. In seven weeks, the the price here has gone from $3.32/gal to the present $4.09, and will most likely be $4.25 by the end of this month if it keeps going at this rate.

Gas was at $3.17/gal last time I saw.

While on my journey and it was easy to get off and on I got $20 to make dang sure I'd get back ok.

$3.869 at a Loves which got me a smidge over 5 gallons.

As has become usual, I got better overhead going south loaded than north empty. I've never been able to figure it out.
