Central PA $3.8X/gal. There have been two rigs hauling diesel stolen, already this year. One has been found empty. The other has yet to be found.

 

It's over $4.00 now around here. The cheaper stations are now $3.80.

 

Stopped this A.M. to fill up and it was $3.95!

 

anyone seen over 5 bucks yet?? If not how long? two months?

 

Amazing how fast it shot up within a few weeks. At $3 I can live (not happily but get by) but when it starts getting near $4 I'm really cutting my driving back.

Hopefully it'll drop back down to $2.50 a gallon this summer .... As if that's cheap!

 

Paid $3.67 this past weekend.

Based on current news reports and the rising cost of a barrell of oil, I'd guess we'll see $4.00 before the end of the month.

 

the last i heard, they're not expecting to see it back down to $3 until fall.

 

That, my friend is all the economic truth a person needs to understand why prices are so high.

Until someone says "This price I WILL NOT pay!", there's no incentive at all for oil companies to lower the price.

As long as demand is strong, it's a seller's market for oil-- which it will appear to be for quite some time.

I'd bet my first born (if that ever happens) you will never see prices at or near 3/gal ever again.

Gasoline might see $3.00 a gallon again.......I don't see diesel getting that low anytime in the near future.

I am paying $3.60 in the seattle area.

 

In the last 3 weeks it shot from $3.30 up to $3.70 around Mankato, MN. It's just sickening!
