Name your $/gallon
Diesel dropped to $3.53 but then gas also went down to $2.53. I read that the gas inventory is still climbing so that is why gas keeps going down as they need to get rid of the extra supply before they can get the price back up.
Last Friday at the local 7-11 in Temecula when I got off work at 0300, diesel was at 3.79. That same day around noon, a friend of mine was headed to San Diego and called me to let me know that it was at 3.59 at that 7-11. I left for work a few hours later and when I drove by it was 3.54. I needed fuel but was going to stop when I got off work. Stopped there at 0330 and it was at 3.49. And was less than mid-grade. Wonder what it'll be today when I drive to work.
it dropped to 3.65 near me, its in the 3.50's at one shell station in Arlington. The flyin hook over off I-20 is inthe 3.40's but thats way too far for me.
BTW I filled up my motorcycle for 7.25 from empty the other day

Last night gas was $2.49 and diesel was $3.49. Just read on AOL that Nymex trading, heating oil futures fell 0.53 cent to US $2.1852 a gallon. Guess there is hope that some day diesel will get below $3.00 a gallon.
I may be wrong about this, but after doing alot of research on gasbuddy.com to look for the cheepest diesel nationwide, I believe I just might post the lowest anywhere!!!
5 stations in the Memphis, TN area just a few minutes ago dropped 40 cents this afternoon. All five are between $2.85 and $2.89..........now, I believe this is a preemptive drop, so the price probly won't continue to drop like this. How do I know? I work for one of the only three suppliers to the area, and our wholesale price (pretax) is at 2.72 and the other two, Valero and Exxon are within 3cents of us. So these few stations are selling well below cost and at a loss right now. Obviously expecting the upcoming/inevitable price drops.

I thought we were getting somewhere up here ($3.29 a gallon today)
