Name your $/gallon
it would be interesting to know what the price of fuel was when it hit $78/barrel when oil was on the up swing. something tells me it wasnt the 3.89 i paid tonight.
Member Crazy Horse and I just paid $3.44 gal at the Sunoco station on Braddock Road and Port Royal Road in Springfield.
Heck, that's 15 cents a gallon (and 30 miles closer to home) than Opal, Virginia.

In the last week alone; around here, RUG has dropped an avg. of 40-60 cents!!! From $3.20/$3.30 down to $2.70/$2.80. Diesel on the other hand..............well, lets just say, I believe the gas prices are artificially depressed by subsidizing with high diesel. Diesel has only dropped about 15cents at most

. From $3.65-$3.75 down to $3.60-$3.65.
Last time oil was this cheap was last Oct/November. During peak heating oil season and I checked past fuel reciepts..........$3.09 to $3.19 is what #2 averaged at that time period last year. Gasoline at the time was $2.40/$2.45
But diesel is more related to the heating oil price market. And the last time heating oil was bid this low (at 2.21/gal) was last Sept/Oct and diesel was $2.85 avg then. Gasoline was $2.35.
