unleaded was $3.27

 

driving home today i saw gas at 2.90 and #2 at 3.73 !!! its going down finally around here

Ya know why the price isn't dropping? Because the oil exec's have lost a lot of money on Wallstreet so they have to keep gouging us. Don't you feel sorry for them?

 

Our gas price dropped again yesterday to $2.78 down 4 cents more but diesel is holding at $3.69

 

It doesn't matter what the price is if the pumps are dry. They just closed a refinery here until the end of the month and semis are running out of fuel some are spending hours trying to get fuel. Strange? The oil comes out of the ground all around the city and there are refineries all over the place so why the shortage? The company says they had "prior commitments". Maybe they are trucking it South to the US and that's why your price has dropped

 

I read that they are working on the refinery to increase its capacity so that it can refine more oil per day than it can at this time. Also the work had been planned for some time and that diesel was put in to storage so as to be available while work was being done. Why there is not enough at this time is a good question.

 

Here in Corpus Christi TX I paid $3.53 over by Del Mar college near Crosstown and Baldwin. The station near my house near Staples and Yorktown was $3.69 this morning.

Sweet, heading that way now. Good to hear I can find it for 3.99 somewhere in a few hours and don't need to fill up with the "cheap" stuff here.

#2 is $3.49 and RUG is $3.09 at the flying hook near me. Hard to think I am "Happy" with these prices Oil also dropped to $78.70 a barrel today
