Yes diesel is still to high at $3.86 when you read that heating oil is around $2.88 a gallon.

4.45 here still....Lowest around is 4.39 I think but it's too far to make it worth the drive.

I can't believe it!!!!! Never thought I'd see this price again. $3.99/gallon at the Valero! It put a smile on my face. Is there anyway I can fill up a silo of diesel in my back yard? This thread is great, I can look back and compare prices to a while back.

Ok, now I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. I always fill up at Valero, it's a truck station. However, last time I filled up at Shell (more expensive) and averaged 22.5 mpg on the hwy! I wasn't trying to save fuel either. I was hauling up the Grapevine (6.5% grade) at 75 mph passing gassers at will. Usually it's 19-20 driving it under 70 mph.

(I just jinxed it by posting here, going to watch for rising prices tomorrow)

$3.81 today at that same shell station I've been talking about. You guys are getting ripped off down there for some reason.

The highest station I'm seeing on the way home is $4.09, there are at least 10 stations here locally that are $3.99 and less now.

Don't know about all that, Heating oil is being quoted around $3.599 here as of today.

I haven't seen anything in the 2's since late 2005.

The lowest here is 3.95. Youve still got fools asking 4.39 in some areas. They obviously must not want to sell much diesel. How do you stay in business and charge almost .50 more for the exact same product?
