I just passed a Chevron at FM 1128 and HWY 6 in Manvel, Tx. 3.799. It was 3.989 on my way home last night. I just filled up Tuesday at a Phillips in Alvin at 3.959 for $115 and thought I was doing good. Last time I filled up was in April. Diesel was under $4 then. Still have not filled up with $4 diesel, yet.

Local shell went back up here from 4.19-4.24

 

Just filled up yesturday at $4.13/gal at my normal place.

 

I passed 1128 and Hwy 6 again this morning. The Exxon station across the street from the 3.799 Chevron has diesel for 3.609 this morning. It was 3.959 yesterday. Two miles down the road are another Exxon and one Valero selling for 3.999 and a Shell station that has not gotten the memo still selling at 4.309.

 

we finally dropped to 4.30 on tuesday.

 

the lowest ive seen in my area is 3.999. Im ready for some of that 3.60 stuff from down south! Some people are still getting 4.50 a gallon around here!

BTW crude went back down from 121 (weak dollar, the ruskies, dust storm on the back side of mars, cow jumped over the moon) to just over 113 today.

 

In the other (first) Arlington.....as in Virginia.......

Diesel is $4.29 at the local Hess station.

About 40 miles west of the District of Corruption (that's Washington DC for the unaware), it's $3.99 as of last evening.

 

We're still hovering around $4.40....



Update:
Just saw $4.35 today...

 

$3.97 in Opal Virginia as of 5:00 pm today.

 

Still about $4.85 USD a gal up here. (1.349 CAD per litre).

 

Just paid 4.29 + 9 cent credit charge per gallon. This was over an hour away though, and I'm never there (except when camping). Around here it's still as high as ever.
