Name your $/gallon
while i was home in tx Jan3-14 2006, beaumont area, a few of the exxons and flying j's were between 2.10-2.17. i pay 2.10 here in hubert, nc. while i was deployed in haiti in the spring of 04, diesel was around .45-65 cents per gallon, and gas was around 70-80 cents per gallon. gas is around the 2.07-2.17 mark right now in eastern nc. diesel 2.10-2.20's-30's.
I didn't know that ^....that is pretty amazing they can take that much. I mean the oil companies deserve to make profits because it is a great business. But this war is taking so much money from our country, they better atleast come out of this war with what they went it for, and lower oil prices to 1.50 a gallon or less since they'll control all the iraqi oil fields, and soon to be Iran oil fields..
Been that way for about a month now.
It went from around $2.33 a gallon up to about $2.59.
It's more like $2.70 already at the stations I wouldn't buy a quart from. I'd rather sit on the side of the road than pay these stations that constantly charge 15-20 cents more a gallon than other stations. If they did that same thing with the gas, they'd be out of business.

anyone else have a sharp increase latley?
