JET A1 Fuel in CR 24V
What additives would one need to run in there Cummins while burning JET A?
So i would like to know what additives and how much per 28-32 gallons.
Potential hazzards?

Jet A is a very dry fuel. I would at a minimum run 32oz of TCW3 two stroke mixture oil per tank.
I hope you're getting it for free because Jet A is expensive. Around $6+ at the airports.

and yes it will be free. well maybe about .25 cents per gallon.
some other folks have said to run JET A 50/50 with pump diesel and also run 2 stroke oil.
EDIT: also heard it is a magnet for water, hopefully my FASS will take care of things.

Until a few months ago when a few started to say to use 2 cycle oil, the only thing I ever heard of to add to Jet fuel was 1 qt of 30 weight Non Detergent motor oil.

well it looks like my first fill up will be this weekend or the first of next week. i bought all my supplys, and should be good to go.
i think i will run 50/50 mix (JET A / pump Diesel), and add a quart of TCW3 to every full tank, 32 gallons.

I wondered the same.
TCW3 stands for Two cycle water-cooled 3rd generation. It is a standard from the NMMA (National Marine Manufacturers Association) which sets the minimum standard that the label-bearer oil must meet.

On P pumped motors, I'd probably run it almost straight. On VP or CR's, I'd pour in a lot of lubricant.
It is very dry. It is also lighter than water, so if you build/use a holding tank, drain the water from the bottom.
I can get JP5 for free... I'm just too scared to run it...

200:1 with the addition of tcw3

correct, my FASS should take care of the little water that might get by.

Try it see what happens, it has a higher flash point, might not be good for the winter??

Cool. I've ran a 10:1 pump diesel and jp, and It seemed ok, but, my MPG went down. No suprises there.
I would like to get the fuel tested to see how close it was to regular #2.
I'm sure that the truck would run well for a while, but I'm concerned about long term.
