Add hydrogen for better mpg
I've been working on this for 3mo. or so and was wondering if anyone else has tried it? I have seen some improvement. Check out www.savefuel.ca/ I just found this site the other day and looks like I've built some thing simular for about half what they want.

Have not tried it. With fuel so expensive now I think it would make front page news if it worked as claimed. Does your version work? Can you describe the process?

It is really very simple do a simple test yourself. Sience and chemistry classes in schools do this all the time. Use a 12 volt battery and a plastic cup half full of tap watter add a pinch or two of bakeing soda to the water mix it up. Get two pieces of auto electrical wire size doesn't matter connect them to a couple of small bolt or copper wire, for that matter strip some of the electrical wire and use it. Connect a wire to each terminal of the battery and put the ends in the bakeing soda water don't touch the wires together in the soda water or its a dead short but if you watch the exposed wire you will state seeing bubbles form on each of them. Those bubbles on the negative wire are hydrogen and on the positive wire are oxygen. Water when seperated is two gases, so there is no water going into the engin just gas. I don't know why this isn't going to the front page? I have seen 18+ when pulling a trailer around town, three tanks of fuel hand calculated.

What happens when the water you are using freezes?
Tried to ask this via email at the savefuel website, notice came back saying their mailbox was full. Doesn't say much about this company.

Antifreeze in the solution will keep it from freezing. The hydrogen and oxygen is piped into the intake on my truck. I could see no reason to seperate the oxygen from the hydrogen gas going into the motor it take oxygen to burn the hydrogen and diesel. I've heard of people using battery acid instead of bakeing soda. I know that some of the soda or acid does get carried out with the hot water vaper leaving the container. Yes the reaction causes heat. I mounted my unit back in a tool box under my flat bed so the distace to the intake gives it time to cool off and condesate in the tube and run back to the container. I've tried a K&N but saw no improvement over paper filter and I also thought that if there was any moisture getting to the air box that the paper would absorb it? Also it seems that more is not better. I mean more hydrogen and oxygen. Well oxygen I'm sure more would be better but hydrogen gas is very expansive and will stop or slow some of the normal intake air if you have enough. I have tried and have over powerd the intake air and reduced my mileage. Kind of like flooding your engine with to much fuel. The biggest problem with hydrogen is it will go through cracks that water won't so containing the gas and geting it to the motor was the worst problem. The electical system on my truck barely notices the electrical pull on it's system so that shouldn't be a facter on most vehicles.

I've not perfected this so my size is probably twice or more than what is needed. 11/4 gal is what I have right now. probably could use 1/2 gal. container or smaller. I was just checking my unit this morning to see if there were any physical wear and tear. I've had this unit going since Aug. 9th and have only used 1/2 cup of water. You don't add very much soda 1/4 cup to a gallon. Since it doesn,t use much water you only add soda with water, not very often. I have gone a little more than 5000mi since then. I'm not a sientist just a inventor of sorts. Like I said earlier try it in a cup. See for yourself how fast the water level falls.

Ok weed man we could put onions in it so you could at least smell it. 6cyl man I am assuming gender here? I've had 6 Dodge diesels this one included so I have driven approx. 400,000 miles and I do keep hand calculation of my mileage. Before I added this I averaged in town with or without a trailer 15mpg and on the hwy 17 going 65. I do more town driving with a trailer in tow mostly so that is where I have tested it most. I have seen three tanks over 18mpg in town towing a trailer. On the hwy I've seen as much as 21 driving 65

Ok, it looks promising. And I don't like raining on a parade but my safety sense is kicking in here. Back in my previous life as a sailor on a nuke submarine we used a similar process to extract breathing oxygen from distilled ocean water. The byproduct from this is hydrogen. We called the Mark 6 oxygen generator a "BOMB". When oxygen and hydrogen recombine on their own they do so with a violent reaction. It in fact killed a shipmate on the USS Nathan Hale in 1970. That is probably why you haven't seen it widely advertised. The oxygen and the hydrogen are seperated inside stainless steel cells using voltage as you discribed. The water level was to be kept above the bottom of the divider plate to prevent recombining. When the level inadvertently was allowed to drop below the bottom of the divider plate that dang thing would blow up like a bomb. Good luck and be careful.

Yes sub man hydrogen and oxgen are just like gas and oxygen any spark or flame will make it explode. So if you light a match to the end of the tube at your air intake from the unit breaking down the water you can cause a very small bark. That is what chemist and scientist call it because you don't have any volume of it to really explode. If you took the cup experiment I mentioned earlier and put an empty cup over the top of it the hydrogen will collect in it and if you cause a spark in the cup it will go bark. You make it sound like hydrogen and oxygen will combine with out energy that would be a great sorce of energy, but it requires energy to combine so the only way it can become a bomb it to ignite it some way. The nice thing about this system is it is so small that even it if was clear full of hydrogen and oxgen it wouldn't even blow it apart.

Sorry to disagree but hydrogen and oxygen combine spontaneously and violently without a spark or ignition source. That is what makes it so dangerous. There are several "A" gangers that didn't live to tell about it.

So you are saying that if I or anyone could seperate hydogen and oxygen and then introduce them to each other in the cylinder of our motors they would spontaniously combust that would be cool wouldn't it. Maybe all the chemists and sientists that I have talked to were wrong?
