Getting started on biodiesel...?
So i am just looking into putting a filtration system together for used cooking oil and have no idea where to start. what is involved and do you have to spend like $1000-$2000 on a system or is there a way to just buy the filters and let gravety do the work......?
like i said, jsut getting started and no idea what im doing. and advice or direction to a site that has good reading on the subject would be appreacited.

Running an engine on filtered veggie oil is not running an engine on biodiesel. Biodiesel, essentially, is veg oil with the glycerine molecule stripped out using an alcohol and a base in fairly precise amounts to create "fatty acid methyl ester", aka biodiesel.
Here are a couple links that taught me some stuff:

BTW, biodiesel rules!
