Gas station didn't know what blend it sold...

I went to fill up at a Phillips 66 here in town, $3.15 btw, awesome. The green label that says ULSD also says "bio-diesel", but nothing about what blend. I go inside and the guy says "yep, bio diesel" and I asked what blend, at that point he mentioned something about "15 ppm?s" I said thanks and walked out. I still bought it, figured at a regular station, it shouldn't be more than B20 at most right? It noticeably felt more slippery on my fingers, is that just me? Thanks

There are 2 stations around here that sell bio but have no idea about which blend they are selling. I don't think they should be allowed to sell a fuel they know nothing about. I refuse to buy any fuel thats not properly labeled.

could be anything from B1 to B100..adding biodiesel helps the lubrication of the ULSD.

but don't worry your truck should be fine. make sure the fuel pressure stays up!

until the temps dropper too cold for B100 I started blending.

Thanks, it was a 1/2 tank top off also so B50 at worst! I bet it wasn't more than B20 though. The price dropped to 2.95, oh yeah!

careful of that Bio when you get up to AK. It gets too cold for B20 in the winters here. The good news is that It (bio) isn't very prevalent up here.

Thanks, I don't plan on getting it up there, just bought it because they had it there. Still planning on moving up late January, getting excited!
