That would be interesting. No one else steps up to the plate so the fuel delivery drivers make a little noise. I dought it would happen but if it does I dought it will be wide spread enough for the oil companies to even take note of. Wont do a darn thing but create a surge of people filling up at the end of the strike and giving the oil companies anouther reasone to up the prices again because of the "shortage" caused buy everyone finnaly being able to fill up all at once.

'74 was the 1st time around. Don't know how hold you are but 1979 was no picnic with those hideously long lines at the pump. Couldn't even buy a gas can at the the store after the 'shortage' began...

Well 8:00 AM here and no word from a news source on this, must have just been some gal talking. I wish someone would do something. you know to add insult to injury I stopped to fill up, we use a fuel card and run everything thru quickbooks, fueled my truck and it slowed down at 64.00 and stopped at 65.00 and the truck wasn't full! I went in and asked the clerk why and he said they set the pumps that way. I said why? its not like I can drive off, I have to swipe my card before I can pump fuel. He says you can reset it and pump again. STUPID!, make you pay that much more and double your paperwork in the process.
We try to pass on as much of this costs as we can but there is a limit to what we can pass on combined with insurance and equipment costs. Anyway thats an update on what I was told, no more whinning for now. LCH

ok wait a second, the 3400 dollar tax break is for a AND I QUOTE advanced lean-burn diesel auto.....
im guessing that isnt going to count our trucks? so we are left out?
also giving a 1 $ per gallon credit of bio diesel made, whats that mean? for the companies producing it? and only them? or.... could it include home brewers?
i cant find a discussion that goes deeper than what was said....
any info guys?
