Check out this post.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5855640.html

Story does not say what type of tank, just that it was not connected. First I have seen for fines being handed out. Be careful boys........

Jim

Edit: Can someone fix the link. My computer is not smart enough......

Big thanks Levi. There is also discussion of this in the Mexican-Texas fuel thread.

Just make sure you have your tank properly hooked up and it looks like you should have no problems. If you want to do multiple runs and get diesel just offload your 2nd tank into drums at home and go back for another load. A little more work but its still perfectly do-able

Better to pay that fine than a lot bigger for using non ULSD ! I don't believe Mexico even knows what ULSD is?

I've got a neighbor who has made some runs with his 100 gal. fueler inbed tank. He says it's definitely not ULSD. Kind of a brown color. He claims 1.5 mpg. gain on his overhead with a 6.0 Ford.

Color is not an indicator of sulfur content. There are generalizations but you can not use it as a definitive test.

Message.... Don't be greedy, be slick about it. I wouldn't even think about trying to haul in fuel unless it was in a tank hooked to my truck. I mean no matter the law, how could they stop that?
