Diesel now cheaper than gas
I thought I was seeing things last night, but it is true, I saw two stations today that had diesel cheaper than regular gasoline. If you can call $4.099 cheap...

I'm in the expensivest place in the country sans Alaska, and we have diesel cheaper than gas right now supposedly because all the heating oil demand is down and the refinery is back to normal operations.

Its down to 4.75 at the station that is one mile away from the refinery that makes it. .13 cents more than the gas

Last time I was on the Kenai peninsula , I noticed how expensive everything was. I figured part of that was due to it being a tourist town. And the rest due to the remoteness.

This is not political--it is only the truth:
Alaska has filed suit against the Obama administration because they are going to make everything up here even more expensive (8 to 10%) because they are going to require Alaska to use ultra low sulfer fuel in our large ships.
To refine enough LS fuel for the large boats they have to ship it down to the States, refine it than ship it back to Alaska. HuH?
They don't care that it doesnt pencil out, they only care that it makes them look green.
