anyone else blending wvo in 3rd gen cummins(03up)
anybody else blending in a single tank 3rd gen cummins 03up. i run up to 25% in winter and more in summer. 28gal #2, 4gal wvo,1/2gal rug. i park in a heated shop(60degrees), and plug in. i drive a lot 200-300 miles most days. when i start up it runs at least 1.5-2 hours, never shut off more than 1/2 hour, and 6-8hours total, then back to home. i have done this in 12degree temps with no trouble yet...

Be really careful blending. Theres no real evidence to show its safe over time.
If the gasoline in the mix ignites at a lower threshold it might be enough to cause damage. Is the lubricating quality enough for your pump? is the viscosity in the safe range for that pump and injection system?
I would want to see some info on lubricity, flash point and viscosity before Id do it.
Wonder if anyone has actually paid to have a lab analyze a blend sample?
