The annual "gouge on diesel prices" starting early this year.

Well, up here in NH the annual gouge the consumer on diesel prices is starting early this year. Diesel is now up almost $.25 in the past 7 days. It now stands about a dime over Super Unleaded.

I'm sure the "home heating season" excuse is being used already as if no one knew winters were cold.

I used to stand by the oil companies with their explanations about the price of fuel, but no more. They are really gouging us (diesel mainly) these days.

So let this be the official "griping" thread for a while.

Just got back from up there,we found a spot that cost $2.79 but mostly we seen the adv of 2.89 up to 3.00 a gallon.

Around here it starts at 3.00 and goes up.

I don't care what the Oil companys claim or say they know they can raise Diesel to what they want, thats were the money is,off the big trucks.

My last truck was a Pete and had a total of 300 gal's now I would on adv fill up once a day now times that by how many big trucks are out there.

I just filled up in Nashua NH for $2.99+ 9/10 a gallon and premium gas was at 2.89+ 9/10. It always gets me how they tack on the 9/10 cents at the end to try and make it look cheaper.

Reg. Unleaded has been going down, I saw $2.499 on Rt. 1 in Seabrook this morning. Diesel has jumped from $2.739 (about a week ago) to $2.999 this afternoon! Why even in my town of Northwood, I passed a Shell station that had $2.919 this morning and when coming home from work tonight it went to $2.999 ... in 11 hours!!!!!! ***!!!

Superunleaded is at $2.899.

I'll be parking the truck for most of the winter if it keeps going up well in the $3/gal range. I have better things to spend my money on ... like reloading supplies .... bullets/brass/power/primers .... but that is another GOUGE-FEST for another thread.

2.80 over here in central Texas. What gets me is that no matter how high it goes up we pay it.They always fine a excuse to rise it up,then when the reason gets fixed they only come down a few penneys, they dont go back down to were the prices were.We are being taken for a ride and our politicians do not protect the consumer. They use every excuse in the book and they get away with it.I wonder how much campaing contributions the oil companys gave our elected officials??

Where I get it here in the great metropolous of Shepherd, TX it was 2.839 this AM. I want to say it was 2.739 last week.

It's my work truck as well as my personal truck, so company pays whatever.

There was a blurb on the news last week about two refineries being down due to system failures and how it would raise fuel prices.
$3.03 in Montana for diesel.
