Has anybody tried adding acetone to there diesel fuel? If tou have what is the vurdict?

The verdict is that is pretty much a myth. It might help clean things up but there are better and safer products to do that.

I did try it, before I found the above link, on an my old '87 4.0L gasoline jeep and it did not produce any benefit that I could measure. Save your money on the Acetone and use a good diesel additive instead.
